Terms of Service

Last updated 6 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Alola Life. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

1. Who we are

Alola Life (“Alola Life”, “we”, “us”) is a Chinese-metaphysics wellbeing service operated by Alola Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN [to be inserted]). You can reach us at [hello@alola.com].

2. What the service is

Alola Life computes bazi (八字) charts, feng-shui and related readings from the birth and location details you provide, and explains them in plain language. The astronomical calculations are performed precisely; the interpretive guidance draws on classical Chinese metaphysical tradition.

The service is provided for personal insight, reflection and general guidance only. It is not professional advice of any kind and offers no guaranteed outcomes. See our Disclaimer for the full position.

3. Your account

Membership is free and uses a passwordless email sign-in link. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, access it by automated means beyond normal use, reverse-engineer it, resell it, or use it to harass others or in any unlawful way. We may suspend or end access that breaches these terms.

5. Payments

Core tools are currently free. Where we introduce paid products in future, the price, what it includes, and any refund terms will be shown clearly before you pay. Any onward services from third-party practitioners are contracted directly with them, on their terms.

6. Intellectual property

The software, design, written explanations, scoring logic and content are owned by us or our licensors. Your personal reading is yours to keep and use for your own purposes; the underlying system and content remain ours.

7. No warranties; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alola Life is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make in reliance on a reading. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-excludable rights you have under applicable law.

This document is provided in good faith and in plain language. It is not itself legal advice. Read alongside our Terms, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
